NEW YORK - Patent holding company Klausner Technologies Inc. on Friday said Verizon Wireless has settled a suit alleging infringement of a patent covering the visual listing of voicemail.
The terms were not disclosed. Klausner said Verizon Wireless is the 15th company to license the Visual Voicemail patent. Previous licensees include AT&T Inc., Apple Inc. and Vonage Holdings Corp.
Klausner is still suing Google Inc., LG Electronics Inc., Comverse Technology Inc., Citrix Systems Inc., Cox Communications and Embarq Corp. over the same patent, it said.
Verizon Wireless is a joint venture of New York-based Verizon Communications Inc. and Vodafone Group PLC of Britain.
