four.2 Out Of 5 Stars (149 Customer Reviews)
Reviews for iHome iH15 LED Color-Changing Speaker System with Built-In Subwoofer for iPod (Electronics) I've had this for 3 months and have turn out to be obsessed with it -- I use it in a 300 sq-ft room, and it sounds nice -- PROS/CONS observe.

PROS

Compact and mild-weight -- it can be just under 6"x6"x6" and maybe weighs a pound? Very simple to move. It has little rubber feet that grip it to a flat floor.

Surprisingly excellent, wealthy sound quality -- I'm now not an audiophile in any approach, however would fee this very highly for the dimensions and particularly for the related fee. You cannot adjust the bass or the rest, but the default is solely high-quality.

Works out of the country (100-240V) -- I took this with me whereas living in a international country, and it works nice with a easy Euro-plug converter. The plug can be quite small and gentleweight (about 3"h x 2"w x 1"d), and simple to pack.

Charges iPod in its case -- I have the Griffin mirrored case (open bottom) over a 7G classic iPod, and it just barely matchs, nevertheless it does fit. Also there are a quantity of dock adapters so you should use it with different iPod adaptations.

Versatile -- The three.5mm auxiliary jack allows you to use this with any software supporting a typical male-to-male input cable. It could be nice if a cable were integrated, but at this price, I can't truly bitch. Sound high quality continues to be excessive throughout devices (I've used it with a Sharp tube TV and MacBookPro). It works with an auxiliary device plugged in, while the iPod is charging within the dock (w/the iPod turned off/paused). So you want to use it as a laptop speaker, and maintain the iPod docked to charge.

CONS

iPod alarm doesn't work with it -- I've had this problem with other audio system too, so I don't penalize this one too much for what will be an iPod-related downside. I use the speaker with my Mac laptop alarm, by implys of a long (20') 3.5mm inline aux cable, and it works well.

Volume buttons are somewhat sticky -- You need to press them a couple of times to register a perceptible change. I choose the touch delicate buttons that JBL uses on my OnStage and Harmon Kardon sticks. It also takes a number of seconds after fliping to your iPod for the sound to "catch up" to the existing speaker volume.

No mute button -- You need to press the off howeverton. Not an immense deal, however value mentioning.

TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT

Color gentle -- The inventory photograph that iHome uses is a chunk deceptive. The colours don't alternate into solid "flat" colours, however into glowing color-lights. You can let it cycle through the colours or freeze it on the colour of your choice. It's fun for five minutes, or, when you are eight, 5 years. Then you turn it off totally.
Reviews for iHome iH15 LED Color-Changing Speaker System with Built-In Subwoofer for iPod (Electronics) Overall, four-stars, beautiful excellent.

The sound is lovely first rate. Forget deep, rich bass that others describe. Sounds better than most "mini-speakers" programs, though. Sounds like a small boom-box. At least the sounds are neatly balanced and articulated, now not muddy or distorted.

It can also get beautiful loud. Surprisingly, the bass response appears better at excessive quantity levels.

The seem to be of the cool, color changing cube is superior. It has three modes:

> stable coloration of your choice;

> revolving colors, changing every few 2ds;

> repeatedly oozing thru the whole spectrum.

It's the 0.33 mode that's the best. It's dim enough to make a pleasant night-light with out lighting up the whole room. And the mild stuff works whether or not the sound is on or off, and it can be simple to show the gentle off when the sound is off as well.

CON - It has no clock, and no "auto on" feature. I had anticipated to depart it on and use my iPod's alarm to activate, for that purpose enjoying track to wake me up. However, it does not seem to work. When docked, the iPod's alarm does now not go off. Maybe I should are attempting it again with the iPod on, but no longer taking phase in a song.

So overall, it is very good.
Reviews for iHome iH15 LED Color-Changing Speaker System with Built-In Subwoofer for iPod (Electronics) I too had read a million assessments for a million merchandise. I made up our thoughtss to risk it with this on the grounds that most of the assessments have been excellent. I have A fourTH GENERATION NANO- and yes there's an adapter for it. We hearken to it on a regular basis. IT CHARGES YOUR IPOD WHILE DOCKED. The sound is superb. The color change is cool. I needed something small that sounded great. I use it in each room of the house, particularly the kitchen whereas I am preparing meals. The sound is nice for this type of small dice. I would recommend this to someone of any age. In a day where most factors do not do what they say within the commercial, at last one thing that exceeds these guarantees. You is no longer going to go fallacious with this one.
